The Museum at Warm Springs Invites Oregonians to Experience Native American Culture
Following the traditions of the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs, The Museum At Warm Springs takes great honor in recognizing individuals whose efforts on behalf of Native Americans can serve as an example for all Americans. This year will mark the 8th Annual Honor Dinner April 17, 2010 at the World Forestry Center in Portland. There will be a reception beginning at 5:30 pm with dinner and the program to follow.
The Museum presents a TWANAT Award and a Lifetime Achievement Award to highly committed and inspirational figures from throughout Indian Country. After 7 years, the list of recipients has grown extensively. This year, The Museum At Warm Springs will award a TWANAT Award to Ms. Elizebeth Furse and a Lifetime Achievement Award will be presented to the late Atwai James Dean Noteboom and Family.
The dinner features a Silent Auction featuring arts and crafts created by artists and artisans of the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs and dancing.
This special 8th Annual Honor Dinner will certainly be a site and evening to experience! Sponsorships to attend the dinner start as low as $100 at the friendship level and go to the $10,000 TWANAT level for a two tables of 8 next to the stage!
