The mission of the Children Protective
Services department is to help families develop their
strengths to be self-supportive so their children can
develop into healthy and responsible individuals.
CPS' goal
is to reduce the incidence of child
abuse and neglect by providing competent family based
services by using the resources of the family, tribe and
culture.
